Blue Himalayan Poppies

Jay Ruzesky Jay Ruzesky was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1965 and now lives in Victoria. He is on the editorial board of The Malahat Review and is co-founder of Outlaw Editions. He has taught at the University of Victoria and, since 1990, at Malaspina University College in Duncan, BC. His titles include Am I Glad to See You, Painting the Yellow House Blue and several chapbooks. Jay has been featured in the anthologies Breathing Fire: Canada's New Poets (Harbour), In the Clear (Thistledown) and Meltwater (Banff Centre) and in magazines such as Saturday Night, Prism International, Poetry Canada Review and Event.
